Link to Meeting is a Calendar conferencing extension that lets you add Microsoft Teams and Google Meet links directly to your calendar events. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What Data We Collect
On Your Device (Stored Securely in Keychain)
- Microsoft and Google OAuth access and refresh tokens
- Your linked account names and email addresses (to display in the app)
- Your app preferences
Diagnostic Data
The app may collect anonymous crash reports and performance diagnostics via Apple’s built-in frameworks. This data is not linked to your identity.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not operate any backend servers
- We do not transmit your data to any servers we control
- We do not store or read your calendar event content
- We do not track your usage or behaviour
Why We Collect This Data
OAuth tokens are stored solely to authenticate with Microsoft Teams and Google Meet on your behalf when generating meeting links for calendar events. Your account name and email are stored locally to display your connected accounts in the app.
Third-Party Services
Link to Meeting interacts with the following third-party services:
- Microsoft Teams – When you add a Teams meeting to a calendar event, the app calls Microsoft’s API to create the meeting on your behalf. Microsoft’s privacy policy applies.
- Google Meet – When you add a Meet link to a calendar event, the app calls Google’s API to create the meeting on your behalf. Google’s privacy policy applies.
- Apple Calendar – The conferencing extension integrates with the built-in Calendar app. Apple’s privacy policy applies.
Data Deletion
When you remove an account in Link to Meeting, all stored tokens and account information for that account are deleted from your device immediately.
You can also revoke access at any time directly from your Microsoft account settings or Google account settings.
