⚠️ Vibe Coded Beta: Read This First
This app is as much of an experiment as the Forkiverse itself.
It is a Vibe Coded Beta, which means I built it in three evenings with AI. Expect bugs. Also, please don’t get too attached. Who knows how the experiment goes or how long it will last? We are here for a good time, not necessarily a long time.

Forkit is a native Mastodon client for iOS and macOS. I wrote it in two evenings using the “vibe coding” method. It is designed specifically for The Fediverse Experiment.
The Experiment
In a recent crossover between Hard Fork and Search Engine, the hosts launched a radical experiment called The Forkiverse.
They asked: Can we build a better social network? Most platforms are designed to make you angry so you stay glued to the screen. The Forkiverse is different. It is a custom-built community designed to incentivize friendly interaction and good-faith discussion instead of rage-baiting.
Forkit is my contribution to the cause. It is a calm, native way to access the Forkiverse (and the rest of Mastodon) without the noise.
Available On
- iPhone and Mac: [Get it from TestFlight]
What It Does
- No Rage Algorithm: Browse your Home, Local, and Federated timelines in pure chronological order. No robots trying to radicalize you.
- Friendly By Design: Features designed for “good faith” interaction. Boost, favorite, and reply like a human.
- Media Ready: Post your cats, your lunch, or your experiments with full media support.
- Notifications: Get pinged only when it matters.
- Authentic Rage: The platform removed the radicalizing algorithms, so any rage you feel now is purely organic and caused by stumbling upon bugs in this beta.
